The Lockerstor models are noted for their professional housing features, including hot swappable drive bays that incorporate locks and visible drive activity LEDs in the caddies. This build quality contributes to a higher price point for the AS6702T v2.
From a hardware perspective, the NAS incorporates DDR4 RAM, which the reviewers considered a positive consideration given current memory pricing, particularly because the unit includes a spare SO-DIMM slot for expansion.
