The ASUS T1 RTX 5060 Ti is a limited-edition card designed with T1 esports team branding. It delivers solid 1080p and 1440p competitive performance, but its 8GB VRAM presents limitations at 4K and high-resolution ray tracing.

The ASUS T1 GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 8GB OC Edition enters the market as a limited-edition graphics card, marking a collaboration with T1, the South Korean esports team renowned for its dominance in League of Legends.

The card’s design is a key feature, moving beyond standard branded re-skins. It features a high-contrast black, white, and grey aesthetic. Artwork on the card celebrates the team’s players and commemorates their World Championship victories in 2023, 2024, and 2025.

Under the hood, the T1 model is built around the GB206 die. It incorporates 4,608 CUDA cores and achieves a boost clock of up to 2,662 MHz. Memory specifications include 8 GB of GDDR7 running at 28 Gbps on a 128-bit interface, providing 448 GB/s of memory bandwidth. The GPU also delivers 759 TOPS of AI performance.

Connectivity options include three DisplayPort 2.1b outputs and a single HDMI 2.1b port. Power requirements are manageable, necessitating only a single 8-pin PCIe power connector, making it a drop-in upgrade for most mainstream systems.

Engineers addressed thermal management with a 2.5-slot triple-fan cooling solution. The review noted the card’s excellent build quality and thermal design, stating it helps maintain its factory overclock without excessive noise. Measuring 269 x 120 x 50mm, the card maintains a compact, case-friendly footprint.

In testing environments, the T1 RTX 5060 Ti delivers high frame rates suitable for competitive play. TweakTown tested the card in League of Legends, reporting solid performance exceeding 500 FPS at both 1080p and 1440p. The combination of low latency and high frame rates positions it as a strong option for high-refresh-rate monitors.

Performance is further enhanced by DLSS 4.5. The new Transformer model for Super Resolution and Ray Reconstruction ensures meaningful performance gains while maintaining image quality, utilizing the card’s 759 TOPS AI capacity.

However, the 8GB VRAM capacity presents a clear limitation. Independent testing from Tom’s Hardware revealed that while the 8GB card was only 2.3% slower than the 16GB version at 1080p medium settings, the performance gap widened drastically at higher settings. At 1440p ultra, it fell 18% behind. Performance dropped 39.6% in 1440p ray-traced titles and 42% at 4K ultra. In extreme scenarios, such as testing with Indiana Jones and the Great Circle at 4K ultra, the 8GB model was described as unplayable.

For competitive gamers targeting 1080p and 1440p with performance-tuned settings, the 8GB buffer is deemed sufficient. But users seeking higher resolutions or heavy ray tracing should consider the 16GB alternative.

Pricing for the unit stands at $609.99 through the ASUS Store in the US. Australian retailers are offering it at $699 AUD during a promotion from a normal price of $749 AUD. This pricing reflects a premium due to the limited-edition T1 branding and custom design.

Ultimately, the T1 RTX 5060 Ti 8GB OC Edition is characterized as a well-executed limited-edition product. It offers genuine value for T1 fans and collectors due to its aesthetic appeal. For mainstream users, the card remains a capable option for 1080p and 1440p competitive gaming, although the 8GB configuration means it is not the class-leading choice for all scenarios.
