ASRock Phantom Gaming 360 LCD Review

The ASRock Phantom Gaming 360 LCD marks the company’s entry into the all-in-one liquid cooling market, combining high-performance thermal design with advanced visual customization.

At the core of the cooling system is a 360 mm aluminium radiator. Measuring 32 mm in thickness, the radiator is engineered to maximize heat dissipation across a dense fin stack.

The radiator supports three high-RPM 120 mm ARGB fans capable of pushing substantial airflow and static pressure for demanding CPUs. These fans are integrated into a unified ARGB frame, delivering a clean aesthetic that avoids the cluttered look of individual RGB fans.

The cooler utilizes a next-generation pump equipped with a 3-phase, 6-slot, 4-pole motor architecture. This design is intended to boost coolant flow and maintain stable temperatures across sustained loads. Additionally, a dual-side inlet pathway shortens coolant travel to improve overall efficiency.

A prominent feature of the cooler is its pump-mounted LCD screen. The bright and sharp display acts as a premium visual focal point and is highly customizable, supporting both user-defined graphics and system monitoring data.

In terms of performance, the cooler manages high-power CPUs easily during sustained workloads. It delivers excellent thermal and acoustic results, maintaining a well-controlled noise profile when fan curves are properly tuned.

The system also includes a dedicated VRM fan that provides tangible cooling benefits for motherboard power delivery, particularly under heavy all-core loads. However, this smaller fan introduces an additional noise source that may be noticeable at higher speeds.

Installation of the 360mm AIO is straightforward, supported by solid mounting hardware and clear instructions. Multi-platform compatibility ensures the cooler works with modern Intel and AMD sockets.

Despite the straightforward installation, cable management requires attention. The system features multiple connections for the fans, RGB lighting, VRM fan, and LCD screen, which must be carefully routed to maintain a clean interior.

ASRock includes several extras in the package to assist builders. These additions include tubing clips to help maintain a tidy build and a tube of thermal paste.

Priced at $189 USD, the Phantom Gaming 360 LCD sits firmly in the high-end segment of the market. The cost is partially offset by a six-year warranty that offers long-term coverage for the unit.

Currently, the cooler is only available in a 360mm configuration. This size limitation means it may not be compatible with smaller PC cases, restricting its use to builds with adequate space.
