Apple Unveils iPhone 17e: Enhanced Entry-Level Handset with Major Upgrades

Apple has updated its entry-level phone with the iPhone 17e. This model replaces the iPhone 16e and is priced at $599.

Compared to its predecessor, the iPhone 17e incorporates several meaningful improvements. These enhancements include upgrading the processor to Apple’s latest A19 chip, doubling the base storage capacity from 128GB to 256GB, and adding built-in MagSafe magnets. These upgrades are offered at the same price point as the previous model.

Additionally, the iPhone 17e retains the satellite SOS functionality that was present in the iPhone 16e.

While the iPhone 17e maintains a single rear camera and a 60Hz display, reviewers note that the value proposition has improved significantly when considering the added features and the constancy of the price.
