The Creative Pebble Nova is the company’s most ambitious Pebble speaker, marking a significant departure from the rest of the lineup. It is priced at $280 and aims for premium territory, dropping the “budget-friendly” label entirely. The speaker features a 2.0 system built around a coaxial driver configuration, pairing a 3-inch woofer with a 1-inch tweeter on each speaker.
The Nova retains the familiar spherical design with 45° angled drivers. It is equipped with several features, including a set of heavy metal stands, a 65 W USB-C PD power adapter, Bluetooth 5.3, and RGB lighting. The system delivers up to 50 W RMS of power.
Connectivity options for the Pebble Nova include USB-C, Bluetooth 5.3, and 3.5 mm analog connectivity. It also includes a headphone output and a microphone input on the right speaker. The speaker is compatible with the Creative App, which allows users to access equalizer settings and RGB control.
The speaker includes bronze-accented coaxial drivers and metal stands, which are described as among the nicest seen bundled with a desktop speaker at any price point.
Creative is attempting to push the Pebble lineup into a more premium segment with this model. The overall package feels well-thought-out.
