Corsair Graphite 600T White Special Edition Case

Corsair Graphite 600T White Special Edition Case

When the Corsair 600T was first released it was only available in gun-metal gray and as we all know black has been in style for years, but is starting to get boring. Corsair recognized this and has 'refreshed' the 600T in order to bring out a Special Edition White case that looks pretty stunning with a mixture of white and black bezels. The Special Edition white also comes with a hole in the side panel that you can insert either an acrylic window or mesh panel into depending on how you want to configure the case. Both panels are included, which is a nice touch as you can change it when your needs change down the road...

Zotac Mini ITX M880G

Zotac is a company that muscled their way onto the graphics card scene in 2006, but they’ve not stayed stagnant. Zotac ZBOX AD02-Plus-U

With computer components being integrated, systems are getting smaller, yet the performance is getting better. Both Intel and AMD integrated memory controllers onto the CPU die, and the latest Intel Sandy Bridge comes with native on-die integrated graphics. The need for a large system with various chips is no longer needed--small and integrated is definitely the trend.

Intel spearheaded the Atom platform where a very small processor is powerful enough compare to a desktop processor from 3-4 years ago, yet consumes only a fraction of the power. AMD’s latest Zacate APU is their answer to the Intel Atom platform. Like the Atom processor, the Zacate APU is designed for low power consumption with decent performance. The Zotac ZBOX retails for $339.99 on Newegg.

Cyberpower Gamer Xtreme 4000 Sandy Bridge System

Cyberpower Gamer Xtreme 4000 Sandy Bridge System

What can be said about a full system that does exactly what we expected it to do? More specifically, what can't we say! In short, this system pretty much rocked the socks off of everything I am currently using in my main system. Time for an upgrade. Well, first I'll have to convince the wife that a shiny new CyberPower Gamer Xtreme 4000 is worth skipping a few meals. I'm not saying that the CyberPower Gamer Xtreme 4000 is expensive; quite the contrary. If you were to purchase all of the parts to build a comparable system at Newegg.com, you may just be surprised...

Sapphire Edge Mini PC

Sapphire Edge Mini PC

Well here’s an alternative to the HTPC and lounge media center, possibly the smallest full scale PC around: the Sapphire Edge Mini PC. It’s about the size of a DVD case and comes packing HDMI out, dual core atom CPU, a 512 MB nVidia ION 2 GPU, 2GB of RAM, 250GB of storage and gigabit ethernet. Should make for an interesting combination. Let’s see how it performs.
